This is the best way to describe the streamers latest comedy, Turn Up Charlie. Basically a new spin on the About a Boy concept, Turn Up Charlie has a lot going for it. There’s nothing incredible or game chasing happening with Turn Up Charlie and that’s perfectly fine because, in the end, what it’s setting out to accomplish is being done so in spades. Overall, Turn Up Charlie is a solid comedy backed by two outstanding performances that show-off the true range of one actor while introducing the world to the joy of the other. Turn Up Charlie premieres Friday, March 15th on Netflix
