Ask 101, or Love 101, a high school drama set in 1998, is to be released on April 24, the first day of Ramadan. The series follows a group of misfits as they find “friendship, love and the courage to be themselves”. A tweet from the account @love101netflix, which appeared to be unofficial and has since been deleted, claimed that one of the main characters could be gay. The tweet went viral, provoking outcry among conservatives who called for a boycott of Netflix.
