Tunisia’s health minister has died of a heart attack after taking part in a charity marathon to to raise awareness about cancer on Sunday. The 56-year-old minister Slim Chaker reportedly felt ill after running 500 metres right before his speech in the coastal town of Nabeul to raise funds for building a clinic for children with cancer. The marathon was held in the coastal town of Nabeul on Sunday to raise funds to build a cancer clinic for children. Prime Minister Youssef Chahed wrote on Facebook that he had lost a “brother and colleague”. Chaker was appointed health minister last month in a major cabinet reshuffle.
