An interior designer today told how he burst into fits of giggles as the woman sat next to him on the tube made herself a cheese triangle and salami sandwich. She had her headphones on and had absolutely no idea that the whole carriage was looking at her, completely oblivious. 'This girl got out a fresh loaf of bread, a packet of deli ham, Laughing Cow cheese triangles and made a sandwich on the tube.' The page it was 'observational not judgemental' saying it wanted to 'celebrate and encourage women eating food on tubes.' A group is currently operating on Facebook called 'People who eat on the Tube' which has nearly 33,000 members.
