The election in islands belonging to Truong Sa island district in Khanh Hoa province was held early on March 8. To prepare for the election, the Truong Sa island district People’s Committee established six election boards with 54 members and 21 polling teams comprising 189 members. Ballot boxes and election materials were transported safely across hundreds of nautical miles and delivered to polling teams on the islands.
