(CNN) This is what giving the State of the Union looked like for President Donald Trump. A large number of the Democrats who want to take him on in 2020 were front and center in his line of sight. They sat in front of a large number of new Democratic lawmakers, part of the wave that wrested control away from the President's Republicans. Many of them wore white to honor suffragettes, who helped women in the US gain the right to vote 100 years ago. On the other side of the aisle, he could see his Cabinet, including three members who are temporarily in their jobs.
