The U.S. House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly on Friday to send the bill to Trump. Trump is shown Wednesday meeting with top Democrats Nancy Pelosi, right, and Chuck Schumer, centre, as well as Republican Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell. It also kicks budget decisions into December and forces another politically tough debt limit vote next year. Trump on Wednesday had cut a deal with Democratic leaders Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi to increase the debt limit for three months. The DREAM Act refers to legislation that would provide legal status to immigrants brought illegally to the country as children.
