US President Donald Trump has extended an invitation to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to join the Peace Council in Gaza. Egypt affirmed its full readiness to support the Palestinian National Committee for the Administration of the Gaza Strip in carrying out its tasks. Mladenov explained that this phase involved extensive consultations with the Palestinian people and the Palestinian Authority, culminating in the establishment of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza. Palestine Liberation Organization Executive Committee member Ahmed Majdalani said that forming the committee restores Palestinian national legitimacy and puts an end to attempts to create parallel leadership centers.
