President Donald Trump on Tuesday wished U.S. troops stationed around the country and the world a merry Christmas, but only after making them wait for a video conference while they stared at his empty chair. After being greeted by a lieutenant colonel in Guam who wished him a merry Christmas, Trump responded, 'Well, I want to wish everybody a really Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year. 'And, you know, we have a special country; people have to come in through the legal process, not just walk in. Trump went on to speak about the migrant caravans traveling from Guatemala through Mexico hoping to seek asylum in the United States. Trump and his wife, first lady Melania Trump, had an active Christmas Eve.
