President Trump sent a personal letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un offering cooperation against the coronavirus pandemic and praised the dictator’s efforts to defend his people from the disease, Kim’s sister said Sunday. North Korea has repeatedly said there hasn’t been a single case of the coronavirus on its soil. While she praised the “special and firm personal relations” between the two leaders, Kim Yo Jong said they want more “equilibrium,” hinting at sanctions relief, before the relations between the two countries could improve. The official said Trump looks forward to continued communications with the North Korean leader.
