“It’s right out of the Bill Clinton playbook. A Democratic House majority would have the power to move on impeachment proceedings. The irony of Trump adopting a Bill Clinton strategy is rich. It’s too early to know if Democrats would move toward impeachment if they won the House majority next year. Any bold Trump agenda items would be blocked by House Democrats, who would force legislative compromises that would crush conservative spirits.
