The president wants sympathy for having to be in the White House all alone after he cancelled a planned trip to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida due to the US government shutdown. With few staff in the West Wing because of the shutdown Trump is apparently on his own and has fired off several angry messages on his profile. He wrote: "Virtually every Democrat we are dealing with today strongly supported a Border Wall or Fence. Going back to his decision to withdraw US troops from Syria, Trump said Saudi Arabia would 'spend the money' to rebuild Syria. And, if it wasn't already clear, Trump then said he was all alone at the White House... and wanted some sympathy.
