A Supreme Court Decision has cleared the way for more investors who say they were misled about the Trump International Hotel and Tower to take legal action. The Supreme Court of Canada has decided it will not hear an appealed by defendants Trump, Talon International Development and its former executives, in relation to the Trump International Hotel and Tower in downtown Toronto. Instead, the two investors lost a combined $1.2 million, according to a decision by the Ontario Court of Appeal last year. They're plain ordinary people who generally read about this (Trump hotel) on the Internet or saw advertisements and were told they would get a very decent return,” said Wine. Talon's lawyer, Symon Zucker, said his client was “clearly disappointed” by the Supreme Court decision.
