President Donald Trump asked his then-FBI Director James Comey last year if he believed his deputy at the time, Andrew McCabe, was out to get him. In the 80-minute meeting, Comey writes that Trump ‘needed loyalty and expected loyalty’ – presumably from the FBI. Comey answered: ‘Never.’Comey ‘again explained [McCabe] was a true pro and [Trump] would come to value him,’ according to the memo. Before the memos became public, Trump tweeted on Thursday that Comey threw McCabe 'under the bus.' The report said McCabe authorized FBI officials to share nonpublic information with a reporter and then denied having done so when questioned about it under oath.
