So, presumably, you let Trump be on the ballot and perhaps even get elected before you try to enforce the 14th Amendment by removing him. (There is LOTS of civil rights legislation under the 14th amendment). With these arguments, Trump could win the battle — be kept on the Colorado ballot — but lose the war — be declared ineligible for the Presidency. You don’t need Congress to pass legislation to enforce that amendment. Wonder what Trump voters would do if the Supreme Court ruled that he was ineligible but must be kept on the ballot?
