President Donald Trump welcomed home three Americans who were detained in North Korea for more than a year and said he appreciated that Kim Jong Un set them free before the two leaders' planned summit. President Donald Trump said he would meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on June 12 in Singapore, hours after he welcomed home a trio of U.S. citizens who had been detained in North Korea for more than a year. “We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter in revealing the time and date of the summit.
