Former Republican President Donald Trump is notorious for not paying his legal team—or stiffing anyone who does any kind of work for him—and he's being roasted anew after a New York Times reporter revealed that Trump once tried to a pay a $2 million legal bill with...[checks notes]...a horse. According to Servants of the Damned: Giant Law Firms, Donald Trump and the Corruption of Justice, a new book by Times reporter David Enrich, Trump owed $2 million to “a lawyer at a white-shoe firm” in the 1990s. The lawyer decided to confront Trump at Trump Tower. Trump openly refused to pay the bill but offered "to give you something more valuable," saying that he had a stallion worth $5 million. Over the years, hundreds of people have alleged that Trump doesn't pay his bills.
