WASHINGTON—President Trump on Saturday said Democrats are to blame for the deaths of migrant children in U.S. custody at the Southern border, as he pressed lawmakers to approve funding for a border wall. In back-to-back tweets, Mr. Trump said that Democrats favor “pathetic immigration” policies that have given the false impression that people should attempt to enter the U.S. illegally.
