In an admission that sheds some light on Bowser’s current push for prosecutions, a former government prosecutor told HuffPost that Bowser’s office was advocating for charges against the J20 protesters as well. Yet despite their extensive protest experience and the outcome of the J20 cases, MPD has occasionally continued to kettle protesters.
