The White House has admitted that Donald Trump has been blocking people on Twitter for criticizing him or his policies. And the filing also confirms that many tweets from Trump's @realDonaldTrump account are actually written by the White House's social media director, Dan Scavino. Seven Twitter users, with the support of the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University, are alleging that blocking them from following the President violates their First Amendment rights. Each claims to have been blocked after replying to a tweet from Trump in a less than enthusiastic manner. And while @POTUS remains the official White House Twitter account, Scavino has confirmed that @realDonaldTrump allows the president to communicate 'directly with you, the American people!'
