Loyola Marymount University student and “dreamer” Maria Carolina Gomez joins a rally in support of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. On Twitter on Friday morning, Trump lamented “how BADLY” DACA recipients had been treated by the Democrats. Cannot believe how BADLY DACA recipients have been treated by the Democrats…totally abandoned! He spoke of compassion and the need to come up with a solution; his administration linked DACA recipients to criminal activity. To the extent that DACA recipients were indeed treated badly, it is hard to see how the Democrats are the ones to blame.
