Donald Trump has come under fire from National Football League players, fans and medical experts after mocking what he calls “softer NFL rules” about concussions. The Republican presidential nominee joked about what he considered the lack of toughness of pro football players at a campaign stop in Lakeland, Fla., on Wednesday. The comments followed his praise for a woman who fainted at a rally and then returned to hear him speak. “The woman was out cold and now she’s coming back,” Trump said at the rally. We don’t go by these new and very much softer NFL rules.
