Two FBI employees whose text messages drew attention for their criticism of President Donald Trump also expressed sadness over the abrupt firing of former FBI Director James Comey, according to a newly disclosed batch of their private correspondence. The text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer at the time, over six months ending last May were initially thought to have been lost due to a technical error, but were later recovered by the Justice Department’s inspector general.
