University of Toronto professor and G20 research group co-director John Kirton is keeping a close eye on the discussions on climate change. According to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, Canada ranks last on foreign direct investment in Africa. Those funds would be come from G20 nations, whose contributions would be based on their gross domestic product. Kirton said he anticipates Merkel and Trudeau will present an effective united front on the issue of migration.
