By THOMAS P. CALDWELL, LACONIA DAILY SUNGILFORD — Few details have emerged about a truck that went through the ice last Friday, sinking in about 10 feet of water. The department was not directly involved in the truck incident, but Ober said a 2012 GMC 2500 truck was on the ice, approaching the boat ramp at the Glendale Docks, when it began sinking into the lake, about 30 feet from the dock. He said he understood the truck was removed either Monday or Tuesday of this week. Neither the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department nor Marine Patrol played a direct role in the incident, either, according to spokesmen for those agencies. A truck is pulled from the lake at the Glendale docks in Gilford Monday.
