A truck and trailer unit has gone off the road, near Shag Point Rd in North Otago. It happened just before 6am on State Highway One near Shag Point Rd. Police and the Fire Service are there and have managed to get the driver - who has minor injuries - out. A police spokeswoman says the truck and trailer unit has gone some distance off the road up a hill towards a tree. Power was out for 10 minutes but is now back on.
