Traffic could be seen backing up on Auckland's southern motorway near a truck crash,Lanes on Auckland's southern motorway are closed following a truck crash on Thursday afternoon. Police said the crash between a truck, barrier, and two other vehicles, occurred around 4pm. It blocked lanes in both directions between East Tamaki Rd and Te Irirangi Drive. At 6pm, the lanes remained closed while vehicle recovery took place which involved a crane,The NZ Transport Agency said: "Significant barrier damage means lane closures will be in place for some time. Traffic could be seen backed up near the crash site despite Covid-19 lockdown.
