A rescue helicopter has been dispatched to a two-vehicle crash near Waipori Falls this afternoon. St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said one person in a condition described as "between serious and critical" was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital. A police spokesman said they were called shortly after 4pm to the cash in Waipori Falls Rd, near Kowhai Spur Rd. A truck collided with a ute leaving at least one person injured. Both an ambulance and an Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter were dispatched.
