If there’s one thing Chelsea fans are used to, it’s having the manager sacked with swift and savage speed. Former owner Roman Abramovich was famed for it – and it seems the football club’s new owner, Todd Boehly, has as much a feel for firing fast as his predecessor did. The American, who came on board just three months ago, gave manager Thomas Tuchel the boot and no one saw it coming. Sure, Chelsea have been a bit iffy but things weren’t that bad – they’d won 63 of their past 100 games and lifted the treasured Uefa Champions League trophy.
