The streets in Sakon Nakhon were flooded on Friday morning, with some areas of the city under knee-high water. Many small cars had difficulty travelling through the flooding and some broke down and had be abandoned. All roads leading into the city were flooded and small cars were unable to get in or out of the city. The flooding was caused by tropical storm Sonca which has caused widespread flooding throughout the northeast of Thailand.
