Biplab Deb, who has been nominated as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) representative, told reporters at Agartala integrated check post (ICP), that both the nations will develop together in coming days. In line with the BJP government, Deb thanked Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who also is also the AL chief for her support towards India’s surgical strike in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The BJP leader said, “In the recent surgical operation under Narendra Modi against Pakistan the first support we got was from the honourable prime minister of Bangladesh who stood by Modi by saying zero tolerance (towards militancy). He recalled when the state was passing through severe fuel crisis Bangladesh within one day had given permission to transport fuel tankers through its territory. Akhaurha Awami League leaders received the BJP leader at the border point.
