BAYAN LEPAS: Automated equipment manufacturer Pentamaster Corp Bhd has embarked on the Penang Automation Cluster project in efforts to groom local small and medium enterprises (SME) to produce high-quality precision machine parts. He said the company started the project with the aim of helping SMEs produce high-quality precision products by using technology that was on par with international standards. The company records a stable yearly revenue of RM200 million, with the local supply chainrevenue amounting to nearly RM150 million. According to MIDA, Pentamaster supports the government’s agenda of encouraging the usage of automation in the manufacturing sector by providing world-class automation solution to its clients. With the facilitation provided by MIDA, Pentamaster has equipped its design and development centre with the latest software system and instrument for R&D and modernisation of manufacturing facilities.
