An Invercargill trio charged with firearms and drug offences in relation to an incident after a teenager was shot appeared for bail hearings on Tuesday. Garthwaite-Smith was granted electronically monitored bail by Judge Joanna Maze, and is next expected in court on November 23. Taylor has now also pleaded not guilty to driving while disqualified, possessing cannabis plant and a cannabis pipe and possessing methamphetamine, unlawfully in a building. Collins is facing additional charges of possessing cannabis, methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe. Garthwaite-Smith is facing additional charges of possessing cannabis seed and a cannabis pipe, as well as possessing methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe.
