The newspaper group’s like-for-like revenue decline was a slight improvement on the 9 per cent fall in the first half of the year. However, the trading update reflected continuing declines in print advertising and circulation. Publishing revenue fell by 9 per cent, with print declining by 10 per cent and digital growing by 4 per cent. Publishing print advertising and circulation revenue fell by 16 per cent and 7 per cent respectively.
