Trinity College Dublin has acquired the landmark Stack B office building at the IFSC for €16 million. The sale of Stack B represents something of a coup for its vendor, German private investor Dirk Ippen. The €16 million paid by Trinity effectively doubles the €7.9 million he spent on acquiring the property in 2012 . Bannon’s investment team is understood to have handled the sale of Stack B on behalf of Mr Ippen while GVA Donal O’Buachalla is understood to have advised Trinity. Stack B, or the AIB Trade Centre as it was more commonly known for many years, is one of the most recognisable properties in the IFSC.
