FORMER Senator Antonio Trillanes 4th on Tuesday posted bail at the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court (QC MetTC) for his sedition case. Trillanes, who had just arrived in the country, went straight to court and paid P10,000 for his provisional liberty. On Feb. 13, QC MetTC Branch 138 Judge Kristine Grace Suarez issued arrest warrants to 10 individuals, including Trillanes. The respondents were accused of “circulating malicious and scurrilous libels to inflict an act of hate” against President Rodrigo Duterte and his relatives. The case was filed by the Department of Justice in January.
