Sen. Antonio Trillanes 4th went home on Saturday after three weeks of staying in the Senate. Trillanes made the Senate his home after President Rodrigo Duterte voided the amnesty granted his by former President Benigno Aquino 3rd. On Tuesday, the Makati City Regional Trial Court Branch 150 ordered Trillanes’ arrest in connection with the Manila Peninsula uprising in 2007. On Friday, the Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 148 deferred its decision to issue an arrest warrant against the senator, prompting him to go home. Trillanes said he would be back at the Senate on Monday.
