Roque even justified the surveillance of Trillanes’ house since he has been seeking the ouster of President Duterte. Meantime, Malacañang challenged anew Trillanes to present his duly received amnesty application to prove he indeed filed such form. Roque issued the statement even after Galvez claimed that records show Trillanes applied for amnesty but his papers supposedly went missing.
