Denise Billington passed away on Wednesday, September 27, from Alzheimer's, much to the shock of her family, who she was celebrating her birthday with just four days prior. The family continued with their pre-planned fundraisers for the Alzheimer's Society and said the evenings felt more poignant following the 78-year-old's death. "She loved people, she was very popular, very funny, and her sense of humour was great, very dry.
