Rachel Clark had posted on Facebook celebrating the end of her training at BAA 20-year-old British Airways flight attendant killed in a crash with a lorry shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve had only just qualified for her dream job. The woman, named by friends as Rachel Clark, was one of three cabin crew members who died in the collision near Heathrow Airport minutes before the start of 2020. According to tributes online, her colleagues Joe Finnis, 25, and Dominic Fell, 23, were also killed when the white Toyota Yaris they were travelling in collided with a white Mercedes HGV in Stanwell, Surrey. A fourth BA fleet member, a 25-year-old woman, is in a serious condition in hospital. More than £46,000 has been raised to support her and those killed in the crash.
