Tribune Publishing Co. said it has named Finance Chief Terry Jimenez as its chief executive, succeeding Timothy P. Knight, who has stepped down from the board and will leave the company at the end of the month after a year in the top job. The move comes after hedge fund Alden Global Capital LLC in November became the largest shareholder of the newspaper publisher.
