Tribunal investigating suspended judge Mutava to resume hearing in September

The tribunal investigating suspended judge Joseph Mutava over corruption has been adjourned until next month. It will resume on September 7 where its lead counsel and the judge are to make final submissions. The tribunal was to resume on Thursday after a three-week break, but did not do so. Court of Appeal judge David Maraga is the chair of the tribunal in which three accusations have been levelled against Mutava. Mutava was suspended in May 2013 on the recommendations of JSC, which found him guilty of misconduct while handling the cases.
