Trial in child porn case delayed

By MICHAELK MORTENSEN, LACONIA DAILY SUNLACONIA — The trial of a New Hampton man facing multiple counts of possessing child pornography has been postponed for at least three months. "The parties agree the case should be continued to no earlier than July," the attorneys told the court in their written agreement which Superior Court Justice James D. O'Neill III approved. The agreement also states that Bristow has waived his right to a speedy trial. The charges allege that Bristow had images of children in various sexual poses stored on his cellphone. Possession of child sexual abuse images is classified as a Class A felony and carries a punishment of 7 1/2 to 15 years in prison.
