The trial of a Connecticut man police say was driving an SUV that crashed in Massachusetts, killing four passengers, has been delayed because he has a new lawyer. The Republican newspaper reports that 19-year-old Aaron Thorne was granted a new lawyer last week, pushing back the start of his trial. The New Haven, Connecticut, man faces four counts of manslaughter and other charges stemming from the January 2017 crash in Springfield that claimed the lives of a 20-year-old man and three high school students. Police say Thorne was driving more than 70 mph (112 kph) when he struck a tree. The trial was scheduled to start in June.
