Put ex-Canucks president Trevor Linden in the same camp as his former colleagues. During a Monday morning radio interview with Sportsnet 650, Linden was asked about the hit during Saturday’s game, when Matheson hit Pettersson into the boards and then finished his check by knocking Pettersson to the ice. Pettersson hit his head on the ice, and may have also hit it on the boards. “The best retribution there is they score right away,” Linden said of the hit on Boeser, which also drew little immediate emotional response from the Canucks. “What happened to Brock last year and the response was exactly what you want.”Linden said he was upset with why Matheson sought to hit Pettersson.
