CALGARY—The search is over in Calgary for a hidden chest of treasure worth $100,000. Lerue bought a map for the Calgary hunt and took the trip down to the city after learning the treasure in Edmonton had been found 20 hours after the hunt began. GoldHunt organized searches for treasure chests filled with $100,000 in gold and silver in Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. The location where the treasure was found in Calgary won’t be released until after the final hunt in Vancouver is complete. According to Priya Pradhan, a Calgary spokesperson for GoldHunt, the contest was expected to go on for days — or even weeks.
