The engine-run boat, laden with cement, went down on the river as MV Pubali hit it around 8:30am Tuesday, said Kathalia police OC MR Showkat Anwar Islam. “The trawler was heading to Barguna.”Trawler operator Hasan and his helper Pannu went missing after the incident took place at Moshabunia in Kathalia Upazila. A man identified only as Moulad managed to swim ashore, the OC said adding that dense fog may have led to the accident.
