The SA Ice Hockey Federation has made a last-minute save to secure air tickets for the South African Under-20 ice hockey men's team's overseas tour after an alleged R460 000 ticket "bungle" by a travel agent. The Under-20 Rhinos team was scheduled to depart for Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday night to compete in the 2024 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship. A parent, who asked to remain anonymous, told News24 that, by Monday night, the tickets for at least 20 players and five officials had still not been booked.
