People will be able to fly to Singapore by the end of the month through the Air Travel Bubble arrangement, secretary for commerce and economic development Edward Yau Tang-wah said. Yau said both regions hope to announce the selling of airfare tickets “ideally” by the middle of this month. “The mechanism depends on the situation of the epidemic prevention work, if everyone is at ease, it is easier to increase flights,” Yau added. He said, on a television program, that the rapid testing can show a preliminary result within an hour. Yau added it is expected that there will be at least one dedicated flight between two regions each day in the initial phase of the Air Travel Bubble, the number of flights will increase if there’s a demand in the future.
