Police recovered the body of a transport worker from a paddy field in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur on Friday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Sharif (32), son of Siraj Uddin of Sonakar village in Barmi Union. He was found dead in a paddy field at Barapani village under Barmi Union. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sreepur Police Station, Mohammad Nasir Ahmed, confirmed the recovery of the body. After getting the information, police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to the morgue of Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
